Jobber alternatives for UK trades: what to check before you switch (2026)

Why UK trades look past Jobber, what it costs as of October 2026, and how to pick an alternative that bills in pounds and fits how you work.

If Jobber feels built for somebody else's market, the best alternative for a UK trade is one priced in pounds, set up for how you work here and, if your customers buy on seeing the work, built around before-and-after proof. That's what we built Elivium to be. If you rely on Jobber's marketing tools, AI receptionist or two-way texting, though, there's no like-for-like swap in Elivium yet, and you should know that before anything else.

What Jobber costs (as of October 2026)

Jobber's pricing page, as we saw it in October 2026, lists prices in US dollars and notes that they exclude sales tax. Its Core plan is for one user, from $29 a month billed annually or $49 month to month. The bigger plans (Connect, Grow and Plus) are priced by team size, and additional users are $29 a month each. There's a 14-day free trial of the Grow plan, no card required.

Some things are sold as add-ons on top: Marketing Suite at $99 a month, Pipeline at $49 and an AI Receptionist at $29. If you're comparing, add up the plan, the users and the add-ons you'd actually use, then convert the total to pounds.

Where Jobber is genuinely strong

Jobber is a capable, polished product. Its client hub lets customers approve quotes online. The Connect plan adds automated quote and invoice follow-ups, QuickBooks Online sync and time tracking; Grow adds two-way text messaging, which Jobber says is available in the UK. If you want one big platform that also runs your marketing, it's a serious option and we won't pretend otherwise.

Why UK firms look for an alternative

  • Dollar pricing and per-user maths. A one-user headline price stops meaning much once you add a crew and the add-ons. Work out what your real team costs each month.
  • Whose name the customer sees. Think about what your customer sees when they approve a quote or pay: your business, or the software.
  • Proof for customers who aren't home. Grounds maintenance, tree work, gutters, roofs and exterior cleaning are often done with nobody watching. The before-and-after photo is how the customer sees what they're paying for.

What Elivium does differently

  • Priced in pounds, per seat. £18/seat on Core and £32/seat on Pro, with 15% off at 5+ seats and 25% off at 10+ seats, and 2 months free on annual billing. Three Pro seats are £96 a month, plus usage beyond the included photo audits and storage.
  • Runs on UK time. "Today", the calendar and repeat visits all run on UK time, and a repeat visit keeps its clock time through the clock changes, so an 8am round is still at 8am after the clocks go back.
  • Your brand on the customer side. Each customer gets a portal page in your name and colours, on your own subdomain (yourfirm.elivium.co.uk), where they can approve quotes, see upcoming visits and pay open card invoices. Your logo goes on the job reports. No app to install.
  • Proof built in. On Pro, crews shoot before and after in the app (the camera ghosts the before shot so the after lines up), AI notes the work it can see and anything left unfinished, and you share one branded report link.
  • Money into your account. Invoices raise themselves when a visit is marked complete and are paid through your own Stripe account or, if you'd rather not take cards, sent as a payment request with your bank details.
The cheapest switch is the one you only make once. Test the one thing that made you look, on a real job, before you move anything.

Where Elivium won't replace Jobber (yet)

  • No marketing suite, no AI phone receptionist and no two-way texting. Premium has an AI chat widget for your own website, but that isn't a phone line.
  • No accounting sync or time tracking yet, and no automatic quote or invoice reminders: you send the prefilled invoice email yourself.
  • Invoices carry a single job price with no separate VAT line yet, and bank-transfer mode sends a payment request rather than a full invoice, so VAT-registered firms in particular should check that works for them.
  • Self-serve sign-up isn't open yet. The live demo is the real portal with sample data, and if you'd like to be one of the first firms on it, email us.

A sensible way to switch

Don't migrate everything on day one. Pick one round or one crew, run it in the new tool alongside the old one for a fortnight, and check three things: did any visit go missing, did customers see the work, and did invoices get paid? To see how Elivium handles your trade, start with the landscaping, tree surgery or pressure washing page, then click through the live demo and check the pricing.

Common questions

What is a good Jobber alternative in the UK?

Look for pricing in pounds, defaults that suit UK working, and the one feature that made you look elsewhere. For trades that sell on visible results, Elivium is priced per seat in pounds, from £18/seat with a customer portal in your name and colours; the AI-checked before-and-after reports are on Pro at £32/seat. If you rely on Jobber's marketing suite or two-way texting, it isn't a like-for-like replacement yet.

How much does Jobber cost?

As of October 2026, Jobber's pricing page lists prices in US dollars: Core is for one user, from $29 a month billed annually or $49 month to month; additional users are $29 a month each; add-ons such as Marketing Suite ($99 a month) cost extra. There is a 14-day free trial.

Does Elivium have a client hub like Jobber's?

It has its own version: each customer gets a portal page in your name and colours where they can approve quotes, see upcoming visits and pay open card invoices, and on Pro you can send them branded before-and-after job reports. Customers don't need to install anything.
