Looking for a Tradify alternative? An honest guide for UK trades (2026)
What Tradify costs as of October 2026, why UK trades look elsewhere, where Elivium is a genuine alternative and where Tradify is still the better pick.
The best Tradify alternative depends on why you're leaving. If your work sells on visible results (gardens, trees, driveways, gutters, roofs) and you want customers to see before-and-after proof under your brand, Elivium is built for exactly that. If you rely on accounting sync, timesheets or compliance certificates, Tradify has those and Elivium doesn't yet, so staying put may be the right call. Here's the detail, with our hand shown: we make Elivium.
What Tradify costs (as of October 2026)
Tradify's UK pricing page lists three published plans, all priced per user per month: Lite at £34, Pro at £37 and Plus at £44, plus a Custom plan priced on request for larger teams. There's a 14-day free trial that includes every feature, and no contract: it's month to month.
- Lite is the job book: scheduling with Google Calendar sync, quoting and invoicing, online card payments, and Xero, Sage and QuickBooks Online sync.
- Pro adds custom branding, job photos and files, recurring jobs, online quote acceptance, automatic quote and invoice reminders, progress invoicing, timesheets and compliance certificates.
- Plus adds AI tools for capturing bills and writing descriptions, service reminders, bulk invoicing and job service reports.
Optional extras include an Instant Website at £10 a month and text-message quotes and invoices at 10p a message. Prices move, so check their site on the day you decide.
Why trades go looking for an alternative
If you're reading this, it's usually one of three things. Be honest about which, because each points to a different answer.
- The monthly bill. Most tools in this space charge per person, or by how many jobs you book. Work out the real figure for the crew you actually have, not the one-person headline.
- Proof of work. If the customer isn't home when you do the job, the photo is the product. You want before and after shots that line up, on a page the customer can open and forward.
- Whose name the customer sees. Some firms want the quote, the report and the pay page to feel like their business, not a software company's.
Where Elivium is a genuine alternative
Elivium is built around the second and third reasons. The crew shoots the before photo in the app; when they come back for the after, the camera ghosts the before shot faintly over the viewfinder so the two line up. On Pro, AI reads each photo and notes the work it can see, anything that looks unfinished and how tidy the site was left. One tap gives you a link to a report page in your name, logo and colours, with the photos grouped into before, during and after.
The rest of the loop is there too. A job starts as a quote, and your customer can approve it from their own portal page. Book visits on a drag-and-drop calendar. Mark a visit complete and the invoice is raised automatically in your Stripe account, with a hosted pay page. If you'd rather not take cards, bank-transfer mode records what's owed and prefills an email with your bank details instead. On Pro, repeat work can be set weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly, and completing one visit books the next.
On price, Elivium is £18 per seat on Core and £32 per seat on Pro, with 15% off at 5+ seats and 25% off at 10+ seats. Three Pro seats on Elivium are £96 a month, plus usage beyond the included photo audits and storage; three users on Tradify Pro are £111 a month at list price (as of October 2026). Neither price list says whether VAT is added, so ask before you compare. The two don't do identical things either, so compare the features you'd use, not just the totals.
Pick the tool that fixes the reason you started looking. A cheaper job book won't fix a proof problem, and a proof tool won't fix an accounting one.
Where Tradify is still the better pick
We'd rather you hear this from us than find out in month two.
- Accounting sync. Tradify syncs with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks Online on every plan. Elivium doesn't sync with accounting software yet.
- Timesheets, progress invoicing and compliance certificates. All on Tradify Pro. Elivium has none of them today.
- Automatic chasers. Tradify Pro sends quote and invoice reminders for you. In Elivium the invoice email is prefilled with the pay link and you send it from your own inbox; automatic reminders aren't built yet.
- Maturity, and a trial you can start today. Tradify has years of edge cases ironed out. Elivium's self-serve sign-up isn't open yet. You can click through the real portal in the live demo today, and if you'd like to be one of the first firms on it, email us.
Other Tradify alternatives worth a look
If proof isn't your reason, these are worth comparing too. Figures are from each company's own UK pricing page, as of October 2026, and all three say their prices exclude VAT:
- ServiceM8 prices by how many jobs you book rather than per user: a free plan for one user and 30 jobs a month, then Starter at £25 a month for unlimited users and 50 jobs.
- YourTradebase is £29 a month plus £15 a month for each additional user, with a 30-day free trial.
- Powered Now starts at £28 a month for one user and says it is HMRC-recognised for Making Tax Digital.
How to decide in an afternoon
Write down the one thing that made you search for an alternative, then test only that. Put the app on a crew phone, run a real job through it, and see whether that one thing is fixed. If it's proof and branding, try the Elivium demo: the real portal with sample data, no sign-up. If you run a garden round, our buyer's guide for small landscaping firms goes deeper, the landscaping and tree surgery pages show how Elivium fits those trades, and the pricing page has every number.

What is the best Tradify alternative in the UK?

If you need Xero, Sage or QuickBooks sync, timesheets or compliance certificates, Tradify still covers those better; ServiceM8, YourTradebase and Powered Now are other UK-priced options.
